- 4 Oreo Cookies (with the filling removed)
How to Make Worms in the Dirt Dessert – Candy Edition
To make these fun worms in the dirt dessert candies, you’ll first need to melt the candy.

Use a Candy Melt Pot or a Double Boiler to melt the candy melts. If you don’t have one, microwave the candy melts at 50% power for 30 seconds, stir, then repeat. Continue heating in 15-second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth. Avoid overheating.
Place one sour mini gummy worm in each candy mold cavity. Slowly pour melted orange candy over the worms, filling each cavity to the top. Gently tap the mold on the countertop to remove air bubbles, but leave some worms exposed for a rugged look.
Freeze for 20 minutes, then tap the mold on the counter to release the candies.
