Monster Cupcakes Kid Activity

Last summer, we were goofing around in the kitchen, and we ended up making these fun Monster Cupcakes using candy corn along with other crazy candy items.

Materials:

  • Cupcakes
  • Frosting
  • Candy Eyes
  • Candy Corn
  • Gummy Rings
  • Round Lollipops
  • Any other candies you want to decorate with

Get inspired with 200+ Halloween Tips, Tricks & Treats for the whole family!

There are really no specific directions for this activity. Let kids choose how they want to decorate their monster cupcakes.

I also purchased frosting in a can so they kids could “spray” out the frosting.

The messier, the better from my boys’ perspectives!

Monster Cupcakes Tutorial

To make the lollipop heads:

Lollipop Monster Heads Tutorial

Take a gummy ring and put some icing in the inner part of the ring.

Work the gummy ring around the lollipop to create the head.

Using icing, attach candy eyes (or anything else).

Ha! My boys tried to eat their entire cupcake, but actually gave up half way through because they had piled on so much. But they certainly had fun trying 🙂
