How To Make Valentine Door Hanger Craft

Step 1: Make a small fence model out of the popsicle sticks. The popsicle sticks should be compressed side-by-side. Continue doing this until you are satisfied with the outcome.

Step 2: Cut a pair of medium heart from the red craft felt. They should be of the same size.

Step 3: Align the two hearts together and stitch it in the sides using a blanket stitch.

Step 4: Leave the upper part of the heart open. The widest part of the heart would be the perfect opening for this. Make a knot on both sides of the stitches to secure it. This will be the letter or the message pouch of the door hanger.

Step 5: Hot glue the heart pouch to the popsicle fence.

Step 6: Tie or hot glue both ends of the red pipe cleaner to the back of the upper horizontal popsicle of the fence body. Make sure to bend this pipe cleaner so that it will look like a loop or a handle that will be later used to hang this project.

Step 7: Cut a small piece of paper. This is where you will write your sweet but short message.

Step 8: Write your personal message to your loved one. Using an excess strip of felt, tie the rolled paper.

Step 9: Slip the rolled message to the heart pouch of the door hanger. Finally done! You can now put your cute Valentine message door hanger to your door knob.

You can add more decorations if you want. This is the perfect way to surprise your other half since they will feel more appreciated since you are the one who made this.
