Handmade Love Bug Lollipop Valentines

These handmade love bug lollipop valentines are a wonderful treat to hand out and even more fun to make.

Several years ago we ditched the pre-made Valentine’s Day cards for school and started making our own cards.

My boys really enjoy the project and handing out something to their friends they’ve made themselves.

Step 7: Hot glue the wings of the love bug.

This can be on the part near the intersection of the stick and the lollipop head.

Step 8: Cut the pipe cleaner into half.

Step 9: Bend the pipe cleaner into two equal parts then make some curves using your fingers.

Be creative on the curves that you make. This will be the antenna of the love bug.

While these love bug lollipop Valentines can be given away in place of store-bought school cards, you can also serve them at kid parties.

The kids would definitely love this! A mix of sweetness and creativity rolled into one. Your guest will surely love this.

If you want to turn this into a gift, just bundle a number of them together for a cuter appearance.

You can also make several designs on the wings to add some personalization and change up the antenna shape to give several looks on the love bug.

Why don’t you try making this?! This will be a fun activity for sure!
