What is it about pumpkin pie recipes that just screams Fall and Thanksgiving?
Last year, my son’s class had a taste testing. It was a wonderful way to expose the kids to new fall tastes and allow them to try something they may not otherwise.
Everyone in the class had to mark if they liked something or if they didn’t. My son, Hbomb, was positive he was not going to like pumpkin pie. With a complete look of disgust, he took a bite. And then his eyes grew wide.
“Mom. I like it! I like pumpkin pie!” Wahoo. We had a convert!!!
So guess what I’m going to be making this Thanksgiving. You guessed it… pumpkin pie.
