Gather these simple supplies to create a beautiful heart luminary that adds a warm, cozy glow to any room!

  • pink and red crepe paper
  • white glue
  • a pair of scissors
  • paint brush
Perfect for Valentine’s Day or anytime you want to add a cozy glow, these heart luminary crafts make lovely gifts or decorations that warm the heart and light up the room.

How to Make Heart Luminary

Cut random shapes from the pink crepe paper.

Apply glue generously to the outside of the glass jar and spread it evenly with a paintbrush. Press the pink crepe paper shapes onto the glued areas while still wet, covering the entire jar.

Brush a second layer of glue over the pink crepe paper to create a smooth finish.

Let the pink layer dry for 2-3 hours. To speed up drying, use a fan or cool blow dryer.

Cut various-sized hearts from the red crepe paper.

Randomly place and glue the red hearts over the pink layer.

Let the hearts dry for at least 2 hours.
