Are Walnuts Good For You
Walnuts offer even more health benefits beyond healthy fats. They’re one of the best plant sources of omega-3 fatty acids, which support heart health, brain function, and reduced inflammation.
Regular walnut consumption has been linked to lower LDL (“bad”) cholesterol and improved blood vessel function.
Walnuts also contain powerful antioxidants, especially polyphenols, which help protect cells from oxidative stress and support long-term health.
Their combination of protein, fiber and healthy fats helps promote fullness, making them helpful for weight management and steady blood sugar levels.
In addition, walnuts provide vitamin E, B vitamins, magnesium, copper, and manganese, supporting energy production, immune function and bone health.

Their slightly bitter, rich flavor also makes them versatile in both sweet and savory dishes, adding nutrition without relying on processed ingredients.
