Dollar Store Wood Dice Pumpkin Craft
Supplies You’ll Need
- Wooden Dice
- Craft Paint — Light Orange, Medium Orange, Dark Orange
- Natural Jute Twine
- Wood Stems
- Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- Craft Felt
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
- Ruler
Wood Dice Pumpkin Craft Instructions
Gather all supplies. Basecoat the wooden dice with light orange, medium orange, and dark orange acrylic craft paint. Set aside to dry and apply a second coat, if necessary. Use a paper dessert plate from the dollar store as a paint palette.

Attach a wooden stem to the top center of each pumpkin with a glue gun and glue sticks. You could also use wooden stems cut from tree branches found in the yard.
NOTE: Liquid craft glue can be used for this project, but you would have to wait for it to dry.
Using scissors, cut out small teardrop shapes from a variety of colors of green craft felt. Apply a small dot of glue to the end of each leaf and fold to create dimension. Attach the leaves to the wooden dice pumpkins with a glue gun and glue sticks.
NOTE: Craft foam, colored cardstock or fabric can also be used for this project.
Measure and cut 6” lengths of natural jute twine. Tie the twine into bows, and then trim any long ends with scissors. To finish, attach the twine bows to the front center of each pumpkin with a glue gun and glue sticks.
