Are Sliders Appetizers?

Ah yes, the age-old debate! But deciding if sliders are appetizers or main dishes really depends on context and serving size.

Sliders are typically small sandwiches, often made with mini burger patties or other fillings, and they are served as a convenient and appetizing way to enjoy various flavors in a compact form. They can be served as appetizers at parties, where guests might have one or two to start their meal.

However, sliders are not limited to being appetizers. They can also be served in larger quantities, with a variety of fillings, as a main course for a meal. In this case, they are essentially small burgers or sandwiches that can be quite filling.

Ultimately, whether sliders are considered appetizers or main dishes depends on how they are served and the specific context of the meal or event. They are versatile and can be enjoyed in various ways, making them suitable for both appetizer and main course options.

Would You Leave If There’s No Salsa?

Salsa often takes the spotlight at many homegating gatherings, whether it serves as the perfect finishing touch to various dishes or stands on its own as a delectable snack, pairing perfectly with chips, veggies or other delightful companions.

According to the Game Day Eats Report from Fresh Cravings, a remarkable 22% of guests would go as far as dashing out to fetch salsa if it weren’t readily available for the festivities, and 18% might even contemplate an early exit! (Including my husband!)

These crowd-pleasers undoubtedly elevate the game day experience, particularly when you opt for a salsa featuring high-quality ingredients like vine-ripened tomatoes, crisp vegetables, zesty peppers, and a medley of spices.
