That Mischievous Elf! Elf on the Shelf Ideas

December 5, 2018 by Mommy Evolution 6 Comments

Week number 2 of Elf on the Shelf has come and gone. Yet somehow I haven’t forgotten to move the little bugger.

My boys really do go crazy trying to find Peppermint Stick every morning.

And Peppermint Stick has only been in the dog house once — when he draw on the family photo.

The boys did not find that funny!

Don’t lose out on inspiration for this cute little guy, though. You’re in the home stretch!

So to keep you going (and entertained), here are even more ideas for you courtesy of our own red-dressed elf. This post contains affiliate links.

Every week this season, I’m going to share what our elf has been up to. And for even more fun things to do with your Elf on the Shelf, check out:

By the way – Do you need your own Elf on the Shelf? He (or she) is easy to get. Just click HERE.

And if you’re confused by this whole Elf on the Shelf thing, read up on it HERE.

Peppermint Stick was apparently having a little too much fun in Daddy’s office.

I’m just glad he wasn’t photocopying his bottom!

My boys thought this was absolutely hysterical, and it took me less than a minute to set up.

Not every night has to be a creative masterpiece!

One evening Peppermint Stick perched up on our holiday wreath.

And by the way, if you need some Christmas wreath inspiration, check out my round-up of creative ideas.

Oh, Peppermint Stick. You may be adorable but you do not make good paper snowflakes.

We love that you tried, though.

Again, life doesn’t have to be complicated, including your Elf on the Shelf. Here Peppermint Stick is making friends with some serious bad a$$ dudes in the house. Batman is the ring leader.

By week three I think I’m going to start getting tired of this little guy. But he brings such joy to the kids, how can I possibly complain?

I know I am running out of ideas myself but my kids love Rascal, our elf on the shelf.

Hi Jenny, I saw this at the Pin it Monday Hop. The Elf on the copier, SO funny! I love it! That one is going on my list. I have trouble finding ideas that don’t totally make a mess (cause my house is messy enough without some imaginary elf messing it up) and you’ve got some great ones here. Thanks so much for sharing! πŸ™‚
