How Earth Looks From Moon
From the Moon, Earth appears as a bright, blue and white sphere suspended in the blackness of space.
Its swirling clouds, deep blue oceans, and varied landmasses stand out vividly.
Depending on the Moon’s position, Earth can be seen in different phases, similar to how we see the Moon from Earth.

The famous “Earthrise” photo, taken during the Apollo 8 mission, captures Earth partially rising over the lunar horizon, emphasizing its beauty and fragility.

On red construction paper, trace a heart using a cookie cutter or draw one freehand, then cut it out.

Fill a small baking sheet with foam shaving cream and add drops of blue and green food coloring. Use a wooden skewer to swirl the colors.
Press the cardstock circle gently onto the shaving cream, then lift and place it on wax paper to dry without scraping off the excess. Repeat for additional Earth cutouts.
Let sit for 30 minutes, then use a piece of cardboard to scrape off the excess shaving cream.
Place the Earth back on the wax paper and allow it to dry overnight.Use a glue stick to attach the red heart to the center of the Earth.

Glue the finished Earth onto a colored piece of paper and write “Happy Earth Day.”
