What is Carbon Dioxide?

Carbon dioxide gas is an invisible gas that is all around us, just like the air we breathe.

We can’t see it, but we can sometimes feel it, especially if we breathe in too much of it.

When we breathe in oxygen, our bodies use it up and make carbon dioxide gas as a waste product.

This gas is important because too much of it in the air can be harmful to the environment and the things that live in it, including plants and animals.

When we do experiments with vinegar and baking soda, we can see how carbon dioxide gas is made and learn more about its properties.
