How to Dye Pasta for Sensory Play

Supplies
- Vinegar
- Food dye: blue, green, red
- Ziploc bags
- Variety of dry noodles
How to Dye Pasta
Prepare the dye: Pour vinegar into a small bowl and add blue food dye, stirring and adding drops until the color looks dark and rich.

Color the pasta: Place dry noodles into a Ziploc bag, pour in the colored vinegar, seal and shake until fully coated.
Repeat colors: Follow the same steps using green and red food dye with separate bags of noodles.

Dry overnight: Spread the noodles onto a cookie sheet and leave them out overnight until completely dry.
Once the noodles are dry, break the chunks apart.
