Materials for Princess Sensory Bin
Gather these simple materials to create a magical princess sensory bin that sparks creativity and sensory exploration!
- 2 12 oz bags of dried Great Northern beans
- Acrylic paint – light pink, dark pink, white and purple
- 4 sandwich-size ziplock bags
- 1 cup measuring cup
- Wax paper
- Cooking sheet
How to Dye White Beans for Sensory Play
Gather your supplies to make this princess sensory bin.
Line a baking sheet with wax paper and set aside.
Divide the white beans evenly into zip-top bags (about 1 cup per bag).
Add a squirt of paint to each bag, seal, and shake or roll the beans to coat them evenly. Repeat for all bags.
Spread the painted beans in a single layer on the wax paper.
Allow them to air dry for 6-8 hours or overnight.
Once dry, enjoy your colorful beans!
Store in a large resealable zip-top bag.
