Chicken Craft Materials

To make this chicken craft, you’ll need the following materials, many you can find at your local Dollar Store.

How to Make Chicken Craft

Step 1: Gather all materials. Line up five jumbo craft sticks to form the chicken’s body. Cut two more sticks to fit horizontally across the back and glue in place to secure.

Tip: Liquid craft glue works too, but allow extra time for drying.

Step 2: Paint the front of the chicken white using acrylic paint. Let dry and apply a second coat if needed. You can also color the sticks with markers, crayons, or colored pencils.

Step 3: Download and cut out the chicken pattern. Trace the crown and wattle on red felt, and the beak on gold felt.

Step 4: Cut out all the felt pieces, trimming inside the lines for a neat look.
