Children’s Easter Bunny Books

We absolutely adore Rosemary Wells in our home.

Her book Max’s Chocolate Chicken is the perfect mix of sweet and funny.

Do yourself a favor and check out the audio file that comes with the book. It’s awesome!

Easter Bunny Books for Kids

The Easter Egg

Jan Brett’s lovable bunny hero, Hoppi, and her remarkable Easter Rabbit will enchant readers as they pore over illustrations filled with dazzling eggs made by Flora Bunny, Aunt Sassyfrass and others.

If Hoppi can make the best Easter egg, he will get to help the Easter Rabbit with his deliveries on Easter morning.

But it is not so easy. Discouraged, he goes into the woods to think when a blue robin’s egg tumbles out of its nest.

Hoppi keeps it safe and warm until the baby bird hatches, and when the Easter Rabbit arrives, he declares the empty blue eggshell the very best one to reward Hoppi for his kindness.

Here Comes the Easter Cat

Why should the Easter Bunny get all the love? That’s what Cat would like to know. So he decides to take over: He dons his sparkly suit, jumps on his Harley, and roars off into the night.

But it turns out delivering Easter eggs is hard work. And it doesn’t leave much time for naps (of which Cat has taken five–no, seven).

So when a pooped-out Easter Bunny shows up, and with a treat for Cat, what will Cat do?

His surprise solution will be stylish, smart, and even–yes–kind.

The Itsy Bitsy Bunny

A fun and playful holiday twist on “The Itsy Bitsy Spider” makes this favorite nursery rhyme perfect for Easter!

This Itsy Bitsy Bunny must hop at top speed so he can get all of his eggs hidden in time for the big holiday!

Little ones will love this fresh springtime spin on a classic nursery rhyme.

The Country Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes

The Country Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes, the beloved tale of a mother rabbit who dreams of becoming an Easter Bunny that has won the hearts of readers for generations, is now available as a beautiful gift edition.

The gift set includes a book and golden shoes charm — perfect for anyone who hopes to be wise, kind, and brave!

Max’s Chocolate Chicken (Max and Ruby)

All Max wants to do is eat the chocolate chicken that someone left in the birdbath one fine spring morning.

But “wait, Max,” his sister Ruby says, “First we go on an egg hunt.”

Max does his best to play along, but when Ruby finds all the eggs-and he finds only ants and acorns-he shows her what can happen when you put all your eggs in one basket!

The Easter Bunny’s Assistant

When the Easter Bunny decides to decorate eggs with the help of his friend Skunk, the two must learn to work together before the whole process goes awry.

The Story of the Easter Bunny

This fresh, innovative story describes how one little rabbit became a legend!

Everyone knows who the Easter Bunny is. Each year, he comes with a basket of painted eggs and chocolates for children.

Not everybody knows where he comes from.

On a snow-cold day in a snug little house… So begins the true story of the Easter Bunny.

How to Catch the Easter Bunny

Is this the year you’ll be able to catch the Easter bunny in action?

Start an Easter tradition with this fun and funny children’s book, from the New York Times bestselling creators of How to Catch a Leprechaun!

Easter Bunny (Baby Touch and Feel)

With touch and feel textures and rollicking rhymes to read, this book of cute baby animals makes a perfect Easter gift.

Featuring a different texture on each page, this adorable book will stimulate your child’s senses and encourage their imagination.

The Berenstain Bears’ Baby Easter Bunny

On Easter morning, the cubs find the best surprise of all in their Easter basket: a tiny baby bunny. When the Bear family goes on an Easter egg hunt, the bunny has an idea of its own. It wants to find other Easter babies!

Join Brother, Sister, and the baby Easter bunny as they explore flower patches, leafy bushes, and even Farmer Ben’s chicken coop in search of spring babies.

Flaps on each page open to reveal a different animal family hiding underneath!

Splat the Cat: Where’s the Easter Bunny?

Easter is almost here, and Splat is worried that the Easter Bunny doesn’t know what he wants most.

But where is the Easter Bunny? Do you know?

A fun addition to an Easter basket, perfect for sharing with young readers.
