Homemade Mothers Day Card

Mother’s Day is a wonderful occasion for kids to express their love and gratitude for their mom or grandma.

A handmade card is a meaningful way for kids to show their appreciation, and incorporating flowers into the design adds a special touch.

Flowers are a classic symbol of love and are sure to bring a smile to any mother’s face.

For younger children, cut out the flowers and let them color in as they wish – giving this card a personal flare from their child.

List of supplies:

  1. Cardstock paper
  2. Craft papers
  3. Pencil
  4. Ruler
  5. Scissors
  6. Glue
  7. Marker pens

Instructions for Mothers Day Card:

Step 1: Download the PDF template. Cut out the flowers, leaves and pedicels from the template. Also, select your card paper.

Step 2: Take a light shaded marker pen and draw outlines on the flowers.

Step 3: Glue the pedicels of the flowers in the middle.

Step 4: Glue the cardstocks together.

Step 5: Cut out four pieces of foam, or fold small pieces of cardstock together to make thick pieces of cardstock.

Step 6: Glue the pieces on the card and glue the flowers on them.

Step 7: Take a green marker pen to draw the stems of the flowers.

Step 9: Use a marker pen to write on the card. 

This card would also make a lovely birthday day card!
