What is Champagne Vinegar?
This recipe calls for Champagne vinegar – a type of vinegar made from the fermentation of Champagne or sparkling wine.
It has a delicate and crisp flavor profile, with subtle notes of fruitiness and acidity. The process of making Champagne vinegar involves aging the wine in wooden barrels to allow the flavors to develop and mellow over time.
The resulting vinegar is often used in culinary applications, adding a tangy and nuanced touch to dressings, marinades, sauces, and various dishes.
