You know, just the other day I saw another great way to serve watermelon for picnics or little kids’ birthdays (when you don’t want to fill them up with sugar): Slice off the rind of the watermelon and shape the fruit into a cylinder, like a tall layer cake. “Frost” with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
