Have You Ever Tried to Suck a Wendy’s Frosty Through a Straw?
I can’t have a Wendy’s® Frosty™ without thinking about my mom.
Growing up, we would take car trips to visit family or friends.
If my mom was driving, she would insist we stop at Wendy’s to pick up a Frosty.
No need to twist my arm!
But then she would insist that we drink the Frosty through a straw.
If you’ve had a Wendy’s® Frosty™, then you know that they are thick and rich and yummy.
And not easily consumed through a straw.
My mom insisted it was her trick to stay awake, but I think it was her trick to make that Frosty™ last longer.
We would suck and suck and suck on that straw until our cheeks hurt.
But it made that Frosty last… and created some wonderful memories of driving in the car with my mom.

I love how thinking about a Frosty makes you think of your mom. I have tried drinking a frosty through a straw while driving. I wanted that chocolaty goodness in my mouth, and I had no patience for the straw. I usually get all the kids in the family a frosty coupon book for Halloween. It’s our fun first thing in their treat bags tradition.
I love that you hand out Frosty coupon books for Halloween 🙂 I really don’t have any patience with the straws either — but it’s a tradition and now it’s almost like I’m determined to win over that Frosty!

Always glad to share new info. And it IS possible to suck one through a straw… but not easy. And you have to wait a bit for it to soften up.
