Although there are a lot of activities you can do with your child – St. Patrick’s Day sensory bins for St. Patrick Day are bright, colorful, fun and can be modified to fit a range of age groups… they don’t just have to be for toddlers!
Personally, I think my boys would love the spaghetti sensory bin. It’s a fun way to incorporate St Patrick’s Day crafts and activities into the day.
And if I hide objects in there, it could be a mini scavenger hunt. Just a thought!

10 St. Patrick's Day Sensory Bins
With the Irish holiday coming up, I was trying to figure a new way to sneak in some St. Patrick’s Day fine motor practice without my son.
Sensory bins shouldn’t have to be complicated! You can make easy DIY colored salt in just minutes and then you have amazing materials for lots of sensory play.
The major bonus of this rainbow gelatin sensory tub project was that for toddlers who are putting everything in their mouths it’s no biggie if they take a bite.
Dive into a world of vibrant colors and tactile exploration with DIY Rainbow Spaghetti! This sensory bin activity promises a mesmerizing experience for kids, engaging their senses in a playful and colorful adventure.
Starting this bin a while before St. Patrick’s Day will give you many opportunities to use it in different ways.
This St.Patrick’s Day was inspired sensory bin created for my almost toddler ( at 15 months) which turned out just as fun for my preschooler.
This particular St. Patrick's Day fine motor sensory bin for kids works on scooping, pouring, and tweezing. Kids can also work on pinching with this sensory bin.Â
Just make colored rice then added some shamrock things in along with some coins from the Dollar Tree!
Over the weekend, we made a St. Patrick’s Day Sensory Tub. It was a lot of fun for the boys and I’m eager to show you how to make it!
A mini-treasure hunt and pretend play small world wrapped into one – that also gets the kiddos counting and working on their one to one number correspondence!
Put together a colorful St. Patrick’s Day sensory bin for the kids this March.
Just add a quantity of cooked pasta and several drops of whatever coloring you’re using to a ziploc bag – seal and shake!
Very cute idea!
By the way I am starting a link up on Thursday hope you stop by and link up
Cool ideas! My sons are really starting to get into the different sensory play options. Although I’m not sure I could make the jello – I have my own sensory issues with touching that stuff!
Ha! The Jello can feel a bit funky even for me!
Such great ideas! My toddler would LOVE the rainbow spaghetti!
This is the St. Patrick’s sensory bin we have enjoyed playing with:

Such great ideas! I am not sure about the jello with my kids, but I might just give it a try.
Your kids may just surprise you! Especially if you hide stuff in the jello they have to find like gold coins.
Great round up, love the rainbow spaghetti
