Slow Cooker Oatmeal Apple Cobbler (Gluten Free)

Your home is going to smell amazing as this oatmeal apple cobbler slowly cooks in your Crockpot.

Oh that combination of apples, oats, brown sugar and cinnamon is going to make this dessert an absolutely knock-out! This post contains affiliate links.

Slow Cooker Oatmeal Apple Cobbler

Apple cobbler is one of my all-time favorite desserts. 

This recipe is perfect for any time of year – from summer gatherings to Thanksgiving dinner.

But I really love going and picking our own apples in the fall at a local orchard.

Ingredients for oatmeal apple cobbler:

Apple Filling:

  • 5 medium Gala apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose baking mix, such as Bisquick
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick Ground Cinnamon

Oatmeal Cobbler Topping:

  • 1 cup all-purpose baking mix, such as Bisquick
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon McCormick Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) cold butter, cut into pieces

Directions for oatmeal apple cobbler

Step 1: Spray inside of slow cooker with no stick cooking spray.

Step 2: For the Apple Filling, toss apple slices, brown sugar, baking mix and cinnamon in large bowl.

Place in slow cooker.

Step 3: For the Cobbler Topping, mix all ingredients, except butter, in medium bowl.

Cut in butter with fork until crumbly.

Sprinkle over Apple Filling. Cover.

Step 4: Cook 3 hours on high.

Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 3 hours
Servings: 10
