Snowman Ornament
This wood bead snowman ornament is the perfect craft for the season to add to your Christmas Tree.
Another fun ornament to make are these homemade cinnamon spice ornaments.
Supplies:
- 3 – 20mm wooden beads
- Markers – black an orange
- Twine
- Scissors
- Tape (optional)
- ¼ inch Ribbon
Snowman Ornament Directions:
Use the black marker to draw “eyes” on one of the beads.
Use the orange marker to draw the “nose” underneath the eyes.
Use the black marker to draw a mouth under the “eyes”.
Cut a 12 inch length of twine.
Tie a double knot, making a 1-2 inch loop, leaving about ¼ inch of twine hanging off the end.
Thread the bead that you just made the snowman face on through the unlooped end of the twine. Thread it up over the ¼ inch of twine from the previous step too.
NOTE: If you are having trouble threading the bead, this is where the tape comes in. Wrap a piece around the bottom of the twine where you are threading the beads. It will help them slide on easier.

Thread the next two brands onto the twine.
Tie a double knot tightly under the third bead, then snip off the end with a scissors.
Cut an 8 inch length of ribbon, and tie it into a bow between the snowman face bead and the one under it.
Trim each end of the ribbon on an angle.
