DIY Candy Corn Cones Tutorial

Sometimes it’s not just about the candy corn…. but how you serve it. Make these candy corn cones for your next party or gathering… they are going to be a hit!

If you’re a regular reader, you all know how CRAZY I’ve been about candy corn lately. It’s my favorite fall candy. (Could you tell?) So I’m just not going to stop and share some other fun way to incorporate the love of candy corn into everything!

Candy Corn Cones

Servings: 4

Candy Corn Cones Instructions

Begin by microwaving the WHITE candy melts in a small bowl at 50% for 45 seconds. Stir.

Microwave at 50% for 30 seconds. Stir.

Microwave at 50% for 15 seconds. Stir.

Continue to microwave in 10-second intervals at 50% until candy is completely melted.

Do NOT overheat or candy will become hard. If this happens, add a small tbsp. of Crisco, heat for 10 seconds at 50%, and stir until smooth.

Candy Corn Cone Process 1

Using a disposable icing bag, fill it with the white candy melts.

Cut a small hole at the tip of the bag.

Slowly squeeze the candy melt icing around the top third of each sugar cone.

Candy Corn Cone Process 2

Repeat step #1 for the ORANGE candy melts.

Using a disposable icing bag, fill it with the orange candy melts.

Cut a small hole at the tip of the bag.

Slowly squeeze the candy melt icing around the middle third of each sugar cone, holding the cone at the base for stability.

Repeat step #1 for the YELLOW candy melts.

Using a disposable icing bag, fill it with the yellow candy melts.

Cut a small hole at the tip of the bag.

Place the cone on top of a water bottle for stability.

Allow cones to dry at room temperature for 2 hours, or place in refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Holding sugar cones large part up, pour candy corn into each cone. Serve and enjoy!

DIY Candy Corn Cones

  • 4 Sugar Cones
  • ½ Cup Wilton Bright White Candy Melts
  • ¾ Cup Wilton Orange Candy Melts
  • 1 Cup Wilton Yellow Candy Melts
  • 1 Cup Candy Corn

Instructions

  1. Begin by microwaving the WHITE candy melts in a small bowl at 50% for 45 seconds. Stir. Microwave at 50% for 30 seconds. Stir. Microwave at 50% for 15 seconds. Stir.
