How to Make Craft Stick Horse Craft
Step 1: Gather all materials. Line up five jumbo craft sticks horizontally to form the base of the horse. Trim two more sticks to fit across the back and glue them on with a glue gun to secure.
Tip: Liquid craft glue works too, but will need drying time.

Step 2: Paint the horse shape with brown acrylic paint. Let dry and apply a second coat if needed. Alternatively, kids can color the sticks with markers, crayons or colored pencils.
Step 3: Download and cut out the horse pattern. Trace the outer ears and two mane pieces on brown felt, and the inner ears and nose on tan felt.
Step 4: Cut out the felt pieces, trimming inside the lines for clean edges. Fringe the long side of the larger mane and both sides of the smaller mane.
Step 5: Glue the tan inner ears onto the brown outer ears. Fold the smaller mane in half and glue at the center to keep its shape.

Step 6: Glue on two wiggle eyes and attach the tan felt nose at the bottom center.
Step 7: Glue the ears to the top corners of the horse. Place the folded mane between the ears and attach the larger mane to the right side.
