Getting Inspired to Live Healthier
My other resolve is so also get serious about adding in more physical activity into my day.
As a busy mom, I find that even giving up a half an hour means I working that much later into the night.
Not what I want, right?
Instead, I decided to reach out to friends to see how we could be healthier together.
We decided that actually walking to school would be a terrific way to bond and burn some calories!
It then proceeded to rain for weeks.
Yes, I am in the Midwest, and it just didn’t want to let up.
But on the last day of school….. sun!
We all met at the school playground and walked home together — kids and moms.
And of course, we all ended up carrying the kids backpacks.

Hello. Over from Sand and Sisal. Looks yummy and I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but you mentioned trying to eat healthy so I had to share the following. This is just one of many that you can look up. https://www.womentowomen.com/healthy-weight/sugar-substitutes-and-the-potential-danger-of-splenda/
While I always appreciate people sharing information, I have to wonder about this article written by an OB/GYN.
This reminds me of my favorite childhood sandwich. MMMMM! I’d swap out the splenda for honey or stevia if I was trying to avoid cane sugar though, personally. But I love how you adapted this to work in a pita… great idea!
Thanks for sharing at #SmallVictoriesSundayLinkup …I’ve pinned and will be featuring your post in this week’s linkup!

Looks yummy! I love the combo of chocolate, peanut butter and banana!
That combo is one of my personal favorites as well. 😀
Well, dang, I’m loving this riff on the peanut butter and banana sandwich! I bet you could do this with flour tortillas too, don’t you think?
