We visited the Ausable Chasm this summer in the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York. I’d always seen signs for it but finally made it there. The pictures I took really can’t capture the awe-inspiring scene. And the hike along the upper part of the chasm was quite exciting!

That is home for me. I did a double take reading my emails and saw Ausable Chasm. It’s certainly is one of Mother Nature’s Beauties. Hiking and rafting there is so much fun while enjoying the rock formations. I’m so glad you had the chance to go.

If you’re ever in the area, I can’t tell you enough to just stop and go there! It’s even more impressive in person.

So pretty! But the bridge scares me.

Where’s the linky this morning? 🙂

What’s really cool is you can actually kayak down the river that flows through the chasm. Perhaps when the kids get older for me….

It looks scary but the railings they had were extremely safe. I even felt comfortable with my 5 year old running around. There really wasn’t anywhere for him to go except along the well-marked and fenced in path.
