How to Make Layered Taco Dip

In a skillet set over medium-high heat, cook the beef for approximately 5 minutes, or until it is no longer pink. Sprinkle the cooked beef with taco seasoning and thoroughly mix it in. Add water and cook for an additional 2 minutes, or until the water is fully absorbed. Transfer the seasoned beef to a bowl and allow it to cool to room temperature. Then, mix in the cilantro.

In a 9-inch pie plate, evenly spread a layer of refried beans. Top this with the seasoned ground beef and salsa. Add spoonfuls of guacamole across the top of the salsa, then carefully spread it out to create a smooth surface.

Take sour cream and place it in a small resealable bag. Cut off a small corner of the bag and use it to pipe the sour cream into the shape of a football on top of the guacamole.

  • 1 can (16 ounces) refried beans, zesty salsa flavor
  • 1 jar (16 ounces) thick and chunky salsa, medium or hot
  • 2 cups guacamole
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 packages (5 ounces each) Fresh Express Butter Supreme
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 can (2 1/4 ounces) sliced black olives, drained
  • 1 package (14 ounces) tortilla chips

Instructions
