How to Make Spinach Salad

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy, about 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Once cooked, transfer the bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess grease. Set aside.

Carefully drain all but one tablespoon of bacon grease from the skillet and return it to the heat. Add the red onion and cook until soft, about 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the red wine, honey, and Dijon mustard to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and stir to combine. Cook for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until heated through.
