Make Every Day Feel Like Mother’s Day

My husband asked me what I wanted for Mother’s Day this year.

As a mom, all I really want is to be appreciated and spend a wonderful day with my family.

Too cheesy? But it’s true.

I absolutely adore the homemade cards the kids bring home from school, and we will undoubtedly pull out photos from when I became a mom as well as old pictures of me and my mom.

This photo is of me and my mom dressed up for my high school graduation.

I remember shopping for this dress with my mom and feeling like such a grown up.

I even remember the necklace I was wearing, which had Xs and Os to represent kisses and hugs from my folks.

Aren’t we just the 80s glamour girls?

One thing I always loved about my mom is she believes in presenting her best self.

I have to admit, now that I’m a mom, I’m not sure how she did it.

I can barely find time to put on pants some mornings.

Here’s the day I officially became a mom.

Not looking so 80s glamorous here but still feeling like a million bucks. Good grief I look ridiculously young here.

34 years young, that is!

  1. My mom has always been there for me, raised three girls with my dad always away with him being in the military, and never puts herself first.

    1. Wow. That’s one tough woman! I have a hard time when my husband is just traveling for the week.
