Every time one of my grandkids put some in their mouths I heard “mmm”!! I had to use applesauce instead of apple butter, looking forward to trying it with that. My husband, son, his wife and 2 of my grandkids loved it! Every time one of my grandkids put food in their mouths I heard “mmmm”!! I had a 4 1/2Lb tender loin so I added extra veggies and used applesauce because the stores was out of apple butter. Next time I’ll have the apple butter and will definitely add even more onions along with the extra veggies. It filled an 8qt crockpot and was done at 7 1/2 hrs. We spend our Saturdays playing with our grandkids and watching college football (Go UGA) so anytime I can make a great meal with very little work is a win for me!
Thanks for a great recipe! It’s been added to my rotation. I’m looking forward to making it with the apple butter.
