Carousel1

Carousel2

Carousel3Background: After 60 years, an old-fashioned amusement park is closing its doors.

Hoffman’s Playland has hosted this amazing carousel for decades.

How lucky I feel to have shared in its whimsy at night.

Aww. That’s too bad. Amusement parks, especially one that’s more than 25 years old should never close.

It’s great to be back sharing here. Thanks for continuing to host the weekly WW linky party! Love your new blog button, by the way. 🙂

Love carousels! Our toddlers are finally getting brave enough to give them a try, and it’s been so fun to see how they react. The 2 year old loves it, the 16 month old still hangs on for dear life!

It always makes me sad when a carousel closes. There was one by my house until last year. The mall that housed the carousel was bulldozed and new stores are opening. The stores are great but it still makes me a little weepy thinking about the carousel that I rode as a child.
