      It actually leads to a gorgeous building for The Wild Center in Tupper Lake. But I felt the pathway spoke on its own.

    I was REALLY hapyt to see your tagline as Adks/Tupper Lake!!
    we are huge ADKS people. In fact, we are heading up there on Sat for our annual vacation! Do you vacation there or live there permanently? I’d love to chat with you abt it!
    I have many posts up on my blog abt the ADKS, memories, etc, many pics too ….I went to Schroon Lake as a kid for many many summers. Now we take our kids to Lake Luzerne. I just think it;s the closest place to heaven here on earth….

      It actually ended at the beautiful Wild Center in Tupper Lake. But I thought the path spoke well by itself.

      It is definitely original looking but is actually classic Adirondack style. There are houses completely built in this style. They are SO gorgeous.

    Wow Tupper Lake, My dad told me we have relatives in Tupper Lake. This is a longshot but do you know any Varden’s? That was my maiden name.

      The bridge is designed in the Adirondack style — which is all about using local woods and materials to build (mostly interiors).

    That is a very cool bridge! Was it nice enough outside to hang out there for a while? Sadly here in Houston it would have been so hot and humid and our state bird… the mosquito would have driven you off in five minutes.

      I think the mosquitos have been in full force this summer everywhere! We can normally get rid of them with treatments north of Chicago and we’re still getting chomped.

      This bridge is in the Adirondacks (where the bugs were just as bad!).

      It really was gorgeous there. This is near Tupper Lake in the Adirondacks (New York State). The mountains are just beautiful!
