We used amber teething necklaces for both our kids which I found made a big difference. We also gave them biltong to chew on which they loved. Another favourite for them was chewing on a wet, cold facecloth.

I’m not a dentist, but generally people in my neighborhood don’t take their kiddos to a dentist until they’re around 2 or 3.

It’s interesting to read that babies don’t need toothpaste—I’m glad I learned that! Do you think taking your baby to see the dentist at 6 months is too early?
