Sheet Pan Suppers Giveaway

October 10, 2017 by Mommy Evolution 42 Comments

As a busy mom, I don’t have time to do a lot of fuss in the kitchen. So imagine how happy I was when I discovered the latest cookbook Sheet Pan Suppers Meatless from Raquel Pelzel.

And what’s even better, I’m working with her publisher Workman Publishing to giveaway a cookbook prize package to one of my readers. Yeah!!!

Sheet Pan Dinners

When Sheet Pan Suppers Meatless arrived from Workman Publishing, my husband instant oogled over the cover artwork (always a good sign!). And then I thumbed through the book.

Two recipes that really caught my eye instantly! First, I can’t wait to try out Hoisin Eggplant, Spicy Brussels Sprouts and Tofu, which just happens to be on the cover.

The second recipe Smoky Eggplant and Provolone Pizza. We are crazy connoisseurs of pizza in my house. Currently our favorite is a farm stand pizza with Brussels sprouts on it… but this recipe may take over!

About Sheet Pan Suppers Meatless: 100 Surprising Vegetarian Meals Straight from the Oven

Sheet Pan Suppers Meatless is the follow-up book to Sheet Pan Suppers, and is completely vegetarian.

The magic of Sheet Pan Suppers is back, bringing its inspired one-pan approach to vegetarians, flexitarians, vegans, those following a gluten-free diet, and everyone who’s interested in adding delicious, meatless meals to their repertoire.

Not only is cooking on a sheet pan incredibly easy and convenient, but it uses three techniques-roasting, baking, or broiling-that intensify flavors, resulting in vegetable-forward cooking that has never tasted so good.

And never has cooking on a sheet pan been so creative. Here’s how to cook pasta in a sheet pan-like No-Boil Mac and Cheese or Orzo with Pan-Roasted Tomatoes, Lemon, and Mozzarella. How to cook soups, salads, and stews in a sheet pan-including Roasted Tomato Gazpacho with Toasty Croutons, Chickpea and Squash Stew with Crispy Tofu, and Sweet Potato, Arugula, and Pecan Salad. Plus here’s how to make chips (Sesame-Miso Kale Chips), pizzas, pot pies, vegetable braises, risottos, polenta, granola. And desserts, of course, from a Pear Galette to Dulce de Leche Pumpkin Squares to an incredible vegan Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Amazingly convenient, amazingly versatile, amazingly tasty, Sheet Pan Suppers Meatless reinvents plant-based cooking, making it easy for everyone to put vegetables front and center at the family meal.

You can purchase Sheet Pan Suppers Meatless through Workman Publishing.

My biggest challenge is getting it on the table at a reasonable time. I also seem to be missing at least one ingredient every time I cook dinner.

That final stretch of cooking, my one year old starts to get fairly demanding right then, and I get it, she is hungry! It is just hard to have enough hands right when I need them the most!

Time and energy. I’m so tired by the time I get everyone home and we’re all hungry. Waiting an hour for dinner to be made just seems like too much, a lot of the time.

Right now, it’s our electric! We live in a big city where you get charged rediculous amounts if you use electric from 4-7. It’s a big pain but we’re moving hopefully this weekend.
