I used a 13×9 pan and the cereal is even with the top after pressing down. lol. Excited to try these though. My house smells amazing after toasting the coconut. Yum.

Well, the shortening is primarily used to thin the chocolate coating for easier drizzling and a smoother finish. You could substitute using coconut oil, unsalted butter or canola oil.
