Introducing Mother Bruce: $100 Visa Card Giveaway Prize Pack

November 20, 2015 by Mommy Evolution 121 Comments

Oh how I love bringing my readers a special giveaway. And what do I love even more? Children’s books! But to get the chance to combine the two… well, that’s just fabulous!

Thanks to Disney Publishing Worldwide for bringing my readers this giveaway. This post contains affiliate links.

Introducing Mother Bruce

There’s a new children’s book in town called Mother Bruce from Ryan T. Higgins, who also wrote and authored the adorable book Wilfred.

Bruce the bear likes to keep to himself. That, and eat eggs. But when his hard-boiled goose eggs turn out to be real, live goslings, he starts to lose his appetite. And even worse, the goslings are convinced he’s their mother! Bruce tries to get the geese to go south, but he can’t seem to rid himself of his new companions. What’s a bear to do?

We were lucky enough to get a copy to read together. My 1st grader got a real kick that Bruce was a reluctant parent, and no matter what he did, those goslings just weren’t going to go away!

Enter to Win a $100 Prize Package!

Mother Bruce and His Goslings

Disney Publishing Worldwide is offering one lucky reader to win a $100 Mother Bruce Prize Package!

The price package includes:

  • 2 copies of Mother Bruce (1 to keep and 1 to gift)
  • $100 Visa gift card to put toward your holiday celebrations!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

You must be 18 or over and a U.S. resident. This giveaway closes on Monday, Nov. 30 at 11:59pm Central.

About Author and Illustrator Ryan T. Higgins

Ryan T. Higgins is an author/illustrator residing in Southern Maine. He lives with his three dogs, three cats, two geckos, one tortoise, one son, one daughter, and one wife. He has wanted to be a cartoonist since as far back as he can remember. (Actually, that’s not entirely true—he wanted to be a tiger until he was three, but, sadly, that didn’t really pan out.) Ryan’s first picture book, Wilfred, was named a 2013 Wanda Gág Read Aloud Honor Book. Visit Ryan online at ryanthiggins.com.
