My constant doggy companion, Lucy, is such an important member of our family.
She recently injured her knee and required surgery.
My boys have been up in arms with worry and concern.
We are only in week one but expect her to make a full recovery… in three months’ time.
It’s been incredibly sweet to watch how loving the boys have been to Lucy.
There’s never been a doubt that she’s one of us, but her injury is reminding us just how much we love and adore her.

Knee surgery? Three months recovery? Poor little doggy!
She is so sweet! Thanks for hosting & God bless!
Adorable photos. Wishing her a speedy recovery.
I believe that dogs truly appreciate the relationship with humans. Nice set of images. Hoping for a full recovery.
Thanks for the well wishes. She certainly knows that we just adore and love her. She was so happy to be back home after the stayover at the hospital.
Your Lucy reminds me of a Lucy I know. Same breed but the color patches are different. Lucy is a sweet dog.

Lucy is the BEST name, don’t you agree 😉
So cute!!
She’s adorable! Sorry to hear about the surgery and long recovery 🙁
Sending lots of love to little Lucy. Thanks for hosting this great hop! I shared the linky on my post. 🙂 Have a great week.
Poor little doggie. But I feel her pain! Except it was my shoulder….Hope she recovers quicker than expected from the love of your boys!
Awww I am glad she will recover. We don’t ever know what we have until it’s threatened. We love our pets here!
It’s true. I know we all loved her but boy was I surprised at just how strongly my boys reacted.
Hope that Lucy gets well soon and be up and running around.
What a sweetie, hope she recovers quickly !
Awww. I hope she has a quick recovery!
Wer kann diesem Blick widerstehen ?!
So süß.

aww! she is so sweet hope she recovers quick 😉
Ugh. Three weeks is a long time. Poor pup. How did she hurt her knee?
Sending all of you good wishes while she recovers.
We actually have no idea how she hurt her knee. She just came hobbling back… But the vet said she’ll make a full recovery.
It’s never easy when a pet is injured. I remember when my siberian husky had knee surgery. Twice! I hated seeing him in pain. He’s great now though. Get well soon, Lucy!
Oh no! Poor pup… at least I can easily lift and carry Lucy around. (Even though at 20 pounds I can’t exactly fit her into my purse!)
Lucy is so adorable, I wish her a quickly recovery♥
have a nice day – moni
So sweet! Praying for a quick recovery.
She’s a real cutie! Hope she gets well soon!

Oh Jenny your little Lucy is so adorable and I hope she feels better! I know how much you love her and want her to get better. We have a dog named Bosco that I rescued and when I got him 6 years ago he was so sick and took a long time to get him better. Take care and have a nice week.
Julie
Awww. That’s so sweet that you helped a rescue! We knew we wanted a Boston because they are such amazing family dogs but couldn’t find one in the area where the people believed would do well with young children.
Awe poor baby. Wow, that’s a long recovery time, I hope all goes well.
Aww poor little baby =( Hope she continues to recover quickly. “Pets” really are such important members of the family. I always say that my cat is my son. lol
You’re right. The word “pet” really doesn’t reflect just how much they are our family.
Aww poor baby! Hope she has a quick recovery.
Aw, so cute. I’m sure the boys’ love will help her recover faster!
Ahhhhhhh!! It doesn’t get cuter then that!!! So so sweet!
Aww glad she is having a good recovery

Is there no Wordless Wednesday anymore ? I can’t find any new.
Gattina — My Wordless Wednesday was supposed to go live but apparently there was a glitch with my server. It’s up now!
Thank you for sharing your adorable Lucy with us on our weekly linkup last Wednesday. Today we are excited to feature your fur baby on our blog.
Awe, your pup Lucy is completely adorable!!!! I’m sorry to hear of her injury, 3 months is a long time, but I’m sure she’ll appreciate all the extra love and care from the family.
