lucyMy constant doggy companion, Lucy, is such an important member of our family.

She recently injured her knee and required surgery.

My boys have been up in arms with worry and concern.

We are only in week one but expect her to make a full recovery… in three months’ time.

It’s been incredibly sweet to watch how loving the boys have been to Lucy.

There’s never been a doubt that she’s one of us, but her injury is reminding us just how much we love and adore her.

Thanks for the well wishes. She certainly knows that we just adore and love her. She was so happy to be back home after the stayover at the hospital.

Your Lucy reminds me of a Lucy I know. Same breed but the color patches are different. Lucy is a sweet dog.

We actually have no idea how she hurt her knee. She just came hobbling back… But the vet said she’ll make a full recovery.

It’s never easy when a pet is injured. I remember when my siberian husky had knee surgery. Twice! I hated seeing him in pain. He’s great now though. Get well soon, Lucy!

Oh no! Poor pup… at least I can easily lift and carry Lucy around. (Even though at 20 pounds I can’t exactly fit her into my purse!)

Oh Jenny your little Lucy is so adorable and I hope she feels better! I know how much you love her and want her to get better. We have a dog named Bosco that I rescued and when I got him 6 years ago he was so sick and took a long time to get him better. Take care and have a nice week.

Awww. That’s so sweet that you helped a rescue! We knew we wanted a Boston because they are such amazing family dogs but couldn’t find one in the area where the people believed would do well with young children.
