I wanted to comment that I am in the process of self publishing a book about autism for children. It is almost a children’s “text book” and it goes from Z to A. Each letter represents a different part of autism.
It is important to me that children have a resource that reflects their reality. Seeing peer and siblings have meltdowns, self harm, biting and flapping is normal! If we can help children understand the basics of autism, we can create a safer environment and attitude towards people who are different. Please check it out if you can!

I’ll bet you learned a trick or two from introducing the first baby! Just be sure you don’t skimp on your oldest’s sensory diet… it’s tough with a newborn but key as well.
