Birthday parties should be fun, relaxing and enjoyable. But let’s face it… throwing a kid’s birthday party is often stressful!
I can’t tell you how many moms talk about having to clean out the house with a fine-tooth comb just to prep for the party. What, you don’t think we moms go crazy with how our house looks — even if it’s for a bunch of preschoolers?
And don’t even get me started on all of the prep work for the party. From figuring out all of the games, to shopping for decorations and baking treats!
One thing I learned early on as a parent is to make things as simple as possible. That’s why we love having birthday parties at Chuck E. Cheese’s. Seriously, nothing could be easier!
The first time we were actually invited to a Chuck E. Cheese’s birthday my son was a preschooler. A light bulb went off over our heads. Having a party at Chuck E. Cheese’s is simply brilliant! No set up. No prep work. No fuss. No stress!
And you’re kid is going to flip that they get to have their party there. Chuck E. Cheese’s makes your child’s birthday extra special.
As a grown-up, you’re going to appreciate that the birthday party doesn’t have to just be a pizza party. Chuck E. Cheese’s has menu items adults love, too, such as buffalo wings, sandwich wraps and even salads.
Plus, Chuck E. Cheese’s is conveniently located wherever you are, so you won’t have to go far for the party.
I love that they have games for all ages of kids. When my boys were toddlers, they would slowly go through their coins, choosing easy games and just enjoying the lights and action of the place. As they got older, they were able to take on some of the more sophisticated games.
Be sure not to miss it when Chuck E. Cheese himself comes out and has a mini dance party with the kids. At the end, he often hands out some tokens to the children who participate. Yeah!
My younger child spent the last birthday party crawling through the maze of tunnels and tubes high up in air with his buddies. He had an absolute blast.
Oh… and did I mention they have air hockey?!? My kiddo, who is nine, still is going to Chuck E. Cheese’s for birthday parties. And that is, by far, one of his favorite things there.
Want to know another favorite thing of my boys? The tickets. Oh yes, if you haven’t experienced the tickets, you’re missing out. The kids earn tickets through playing games and at the end of the party they take their tickets to a machine that “eats” the tickets and tallies how many they have.
Then they take their tickets to the counter, where they can “cash” in those tickets for a prize to take home. And there’s lots of great stuff for the kiddos to choose from, so the only challenge is for them to finally pick one or two or three things they’re going to bring home.
But what’s the best thing about having a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese’s? You don’t have to clean up! They do it for you. Now that’s a win-win for this mom.
