How to Make Easter Candles Craft
Step 1: Start by gathering all your supplies and removing the battery-operated votives from their packaging. Ensure the flame lights up by pulling the tab in the back. Then, paint the base of the Chick votive with yellow acrylic craft paint and let it dry before applying a second coat if needed.

Step 2: Paint the flame of the Chick votive with orange acrylic craft paint and the flame of the Bunny votive with pink acrylic craft paint. Allow them to dry completely.
Step 3: Time to add the faces! Attach two wiggle eyes to each votive, using two different sizes for a whimsical touch. Then, create cheeks by dipping a new pencil eraser into pink acrylic craft paint and dotting it on either side of the Bunny’s nose and the Chick’s beak.
Step 4: Download, print, and cut out the Easter votive patterns. Trace the Bunny’s outer ears onto white craft foam, the inner ears onto pink craft foam, and the Chick’s feather onto orange craft foam. Cut out all patterns with scissors, and fringe the Chick’s feather by cutting slits around the edge of the craft foam.
Step 5: Using a glue gun and glue sticks, attach the feather to the top of the back of the Chick votive. Then, glue the white outer ears to the top back of the Bunny votive, followed by attaching the pink inner ears. Refer to the photo for proper placement. Alternatively, you can use liquid craft glue, but remember to allow it to dry.
Step 6: Complete the Bunny’s look by adding whiskers and a mouth with a permanent black marker. Tie two bows with colored baker’s twine and glue one to the Chick and the other to the Bunny.

Now, get the kids involved in a fun family craft time!
These Easter votives can be used as table decorations or strung together to create a charming banner for your Easter celebration.
