When my first son was born, he had horrible eczema. It didn’t take long for us to ditch a lot of products with harmful chemicals, dyes and fragrances to help him with his skin issues. I also felt good knowing I was making a difference not adding pollutants to our water system as well as helping my healthy home stay that way.
He’s seven now, and I still love learning about new products that work well while cutting out bad chemicals and making a difference for our environment. When I heard about Walgreen’s new product line Ology, I just knew I had to check it out. The Ology line is free of harmful chemicals, which is key. But get this… the paper products are 100% tree free! Their bath tissue, “paper” towels and facial tissue are made from sugarcane husks and bamboo, which are easily renewable resources. Plus, their products are endorsed by Healthy Child Healthy World, a non-profit dedicated to creating healthy environments for children.
The product line includes:
- bath tissue
- all purpose cleaner
- lavender and vanilla detergent
- shampoo and conditioner
- paper towels
- facial tissue
- bar soap
The products are mixed within the isles of Walgreens rather than placed in one section, so if you’re looking for them, just look for the bright pink caps or Ology symbol. You can’t miss them.
I was extremely excited to see their Oatmeal & Honey triple-milled soap. It smelled heavenly and is naturally exfoliating. I also enjoyed trying their shampoo and conditioner, which has the light, fresh scent of white pear and cucumber.
