We love visiting museums and seeing the inventive ways they help us learn and grow our minds. But we weren’t expecting to find an actual canoe maker making a canoe from scratch as part of the display! This woman, along with a couple of other people, rotate within the display at The Adirondack Museum and actually build a canoe piece by piece in front of you. Granted, you would have to come back every day for several weeks to see the canoe go from pieces of wood to a finished piece, but pretty awesome.
My son was particularly concerned for her. Does she have to sleep there? Thankfully, they do let her leave (once in a while).
