  1. Just Grandma and Me is one of our all time favorites. I love the Little Critter books so much. We just bought a bunch of them to read at bedtime. I love these book lists since there are so many books I never know where to start!

    1. I think we’ve read every single Little Critter book! We just adore them 🙂

  2. What a great list!! We also love Wave by Suzy Lee. It is wordless and about a young girl conquering the waves at the ocean or not conquering. It is very fun. Thank you for sharing at Sharing Saturday!!

My mom remembers a book that she had as a child in about 1935. It was about a little boy named Gordon and his trip to the seashore. I have been searching for this book, without success. Has anyone heard of it?

    1. There is a book by Elizabeth Gordon from the 1930’s called Dolly and Molly at the Seashore

  5. I feel humbled. I can’t believe I’ve only heard of three of these books! These look like fun books to read during the summer months here in sunny South Florida. Thanks so much for the list–what a great topic for summertime!
