Well it really depends on the icing. If you keep the cake refrigerated you will be good to go. But icing on a cake that becomes room temperature will be softter.

Well, I used a brand new Barbie and cleaned the outfit so it was absolutely clean before I placed it on the cake. I would never recommend a used Barbie or any toy on food.
