Oh. Telling a kid it&#039;s too difficult for him makes me crazy. We encourage our kids to keep trying. And if we know it&#039;s beyond where they are right now, we tell them with practice they&#039;ll get there. 

Negative reinforcement just creates that negative voice we all hear when self-doubt bubbles up.]]></description>
